Indeed, well PDF in my book is the format for printing and viewing read only documents. CBZ is ajust a zip file with pngs in it :-/ anyway, it'd be nice if the comic was all SVG and not just some parts ;-) because then I could take the translations and make real switches so that anyone could download a single svg and view it in their local language. (trust me I can do it :-P)

I have no idea where the anti-pdf stuff comes from, probably Windows people, since Windows is the only platform to not include PDF viewer by default. Either that or traditional CBZ people.

I've added the Indonesian translation... but the sources are hard to acquire.

Oh yes, don't doubt you could, you obviously have skills. On the other hand, given the level of raster-based detail in the comic, those would make for fairly large and unwieldy SVGs. ^___^'

[that, or the sacrifice of some detail]

I guess it's great as it is that we have a very generous and thoughtful author, as well a bunch of people ready and willing to either spread the word or help translate it in other languages.

I can vouch [from my workplace] that Adobe Reader on Windows does get terribly annoying, especially since each release seems to get subsequently bloatier. There's nothing like Evince or KPDF, at least not readily available. -.-'

As for that Sauce file, it looks to me (by analyzing the background detail) that he drew over the original PSD/PNG files and thus no SVGs were involved.
So... WYSIWYG.... ^^;

The SVG should be smaller after the raster version reaches 60dpi, especially when you save it as svg.gz. Although I'm having a play at converting the title page to svg just to test the ideas.

Let you know if I complete it.
