Dude, don't insult me :P Have you actually seen the covers to those books? Exactly the sort of dragons I don't like to draw. (not to mention the original linework for my picture is older than them...).

*calms down* ok, a bit of an overreaction from me, but I'm really not a fan of Paolini's work. He's ripped off so many people, like the magic's lifted straight from Ursula LeGuin's work.

This made me LOL O man. Ursula K is so awesome and Paolini is so lame.

Tell me about it. Having said that I do like to watch Eragon from time to time... I sit and think 'I could do better. Hang on, I *can* do better' and sends me into a drawing/writing frenzy. Sadly I can never seem to keep the momentum going.

Ha ha I hear a lot of writers say that about both Eragon and Twilight. They're sort of thrilled, actually, that they managed to get published because if that shit could become popular then they'd have a chance as well :P

Keeping momentum is hard. : / At least you found something that could jumpstart your creativity!

It's just the coloring really.

*puts hands up to guard self from ferocity that the following comment will most certainly evoke* I like his work. I LIKE IT. I don't mean to be rude, but deal with it. To me, his books are ART. Sorry if all that just made you very mad.

Fair enough.

And hey, just because it disagreed with me doesn't mean I would begrudge anyone else's liking of it ;)
