by that rationalization, I should shave the hair off my head too. It doesn't make sense.
The human body is an incredibly beautiful creation. Hair happens to be a part of that, and does not detract one bit from at artistic presentation of the body. This piece is a representation of the human form for how the artist (model and photographer) choose to present it. This is a wonderful piece, something natural and emotional. Hair on the pubic area shows the female to be mature, grown woman, and again, something to be amazed at, not made to be critisized for.
So what you are saying is that because the model and the photographer and you think it should be that way, that I should have the exact same opinion. Rocker you just explained something that a person going through puberty needs to know. I'm all ready aware of why its there and what it represents. Do you mean to say that if a girl does shave herself clean that the photos taken of her are not artistic? Can't I be of the opinion that in this case it detracts from the image?
Since when does anything concerning ART have anything to do with making sense? I have an opinion and I'm sticking to it. But according to your argument.. You should let your underarm hair grow really long and bushy. But no one would like that. It would detract from the image if for no other reason than it not fitting into the social norm. Are you seriously going to argue with someone over their personal opinion anyway? Just because I don't like it in this image doesn't mean its wrong or right...
