its head seems too big but that may be the fact its open

The head for this animal is HUGE. Believe me it's rightly proportioned.
Second largest because Spinosaurus is said to be the largest theropod. It's maxillaries are just huge! Very very long. That thing (Spino) must have been a goddamn monster.

Spinosaurus is actually not seen as the largest but the longest. the giganotosaurus is the largest because he's the heaviest. but spino is the longest

Spine is still huge. But the other day I saw a cast of some dude holding its jaws, and damn. Holy mother.

As far as i have found the jaws were incompleat but the estimates were of a very large predator. Though not to the bulk of a Giganotosaurus
