He sure wasn't. The damn thing was strugglin and I still couldn't capture it. If I think it would faint, I'd hurried and turned the game off.
The whole thing is on a time limit, depending on how many pokeballs you have or PPs the birds have. Once they use Struggle, we have to do it all over again... sighs.
