To bad that he is in captivity! :(

it is a modern facility. I have no problem with modern marine parks and especially not with zoos.
Well... Well...
Then I must warn you about about something that just didn't changed with the years:
The dolphins grow depressive in captivity, which can conduct to an actual sucide, as shown by one of the three dolphing that played the role of flipper, they die slowly from breathing cholride all the day, they are fed with additives and antibiotics, which destroys their digestive system, and even worse, the mothers are sometimes traded away separately from their babies, which has a psychological impact on them. And they are still often captured during slaughters in places like Taiji's bay or the Faroe islands. A big part of them die from a cardiac arrest, if they arn't paralysed first by getting a metal rod in their blowhole through their vertebral spine.
The activists and the rare journalists trying to show those facts all around the world are nearly always rejected by the responsible countries, and a little time ago, the japanese police tried to get Richard O'Barry in prison first for a purely fictive association with Sea Shepherd (which I approve), and in a last ditch effort, tried to caught him without passport and for having drunk a tiny quantity of alcohol.

I just can't stand that! Such an amound of violence for such pacifistic creatures!...

I've studied this issue for years - and studying arguments of BOTH sides made me change my opinion from anti-captivity to "I support modern facilities".
But thank you for attempt.

By the way, dolphins are VERY aggresive animals.
Not pacifistic at all.

Sorry, but you seem to be one of those "I am anti-captivity, so I am a good person, yaaaay. Watch Cove everybodyyyyyy!" guys...
Actually, they become agressive mainly when abused. A well known case concerns a Russian dude who tried to stick a pencil in a dolphin's blowhole. It could have killed the dolphin with ease. The jerk just got bashed and drawn around, while the said dolphin could have killed him in only one hit. Very few persons would have just shot down a drunk man in such a situation.
The other case of violence you are talking about may be about some reports of seeing dolphins killing porpoises, but said dolphins tried to reduce the inherent concurrence between the two species. Another case of violence may be about dolphins killing their babies, but again, it has been caused by captivity according ta handful of scientists.
Otherwhise, there was only reports of dolphins being playful, fishing, or just getting away.

For your last taunt, I just feel insulted. I studied also both arguments, and I found out that the delphinarium's one were just biaised by mercantilism.

I don't speak about dolphins who are agressive in captivity, but about wild dolphins ;)
Those are definitely no ambassadors of peace.

Well, I'd move on peacefully with "keep your own opinion and respect mine."
Have a nice day!
Okay! At least, it didn't end up in a flame war, like comments like that Psychotic  !
