this is really awesome! Very detailed and precise...I love it! It took a lot of patience to come up with the lines and measurements ?

Thanks :) Yes it took a bit more time to make the sketch; there isn't much freedom with the proportions or features like when you draw a face (like hair for example), but the shading was easier. I made a sketch on a separate piece of paper first - [link] . Lots of helping lines (I even used a ruler for the fuselage axis), erasing, redrawing and so on, until it looks good. I redrawed the lines on a clean sheet of paper then. Also the more reference photos the better. And even then, I didn't notice an error on the hind wings which was spotted by one of my friends after I uploaded it :D

I cant see any error that you pointed out.. :P
When you redraw to a clean sheet, how do you trace it? Using light box?

Not quite, but using the same principle: I put the sketch on the window and then put the clean sheet on it. The downside is, that you must press the paper against the glass while tracing and mustn't move the two papers in respect to each other, but that's about it; it's easy and quick. On bright days, you can trace even through thick paper without difficulties.

wow..I never thought of doing that! Its a great alternative beside light box ^^

My mother learned me that when I was a small kid :)
