I disagree with most of your points. NONE of the direct-to-video sequels are canonical and Smith was NOT too old for Poca in any way! >:(

In real life Smith was, in the film he's a generic blonde which is why I prefer Rolfe (aside from real life) he's more realistic than Smith, like Disney's other Renaissance  Princes (Adam,Aladdin,Eric and Shang), besides Smith was kind of jerk after he left at the end of the film, he never even wrote. If i had a lady in a distant land who never told me about their land i'd break up with him too.

Disney may think that none of the sequels are canon but if you think about it a few actually are if you want to get into each Disney Movie series as it's own World that crosses over into the House of Mouse when they wanna go out.
The Little Mermaid 2 is consistent with The original  as we see how Ariel and Eric's relationship developed after the wedding and who doesn't wanna see that, Ariel's the only one to even have a kid (Melody) which makes her (fins aside) the most realistic princess as she actually started a family, and we even see how Melody prefers the sea to the shore. It never contradicted the first film at all (Ursula was shown as a portrait and referred to like no tomorrow), nor did it contradict the 1991 prequel TV series (which shows Ariel having ocean adventures alluding to Eric but she always misses him thereby making it canon)  infact it referenced it by having a merboy who looked similar to Urchin (possibly his son)
The contradiction in the World of The Little Mermaid is Ariel's Beginning, her first meeting with Flounder is when she is 14 or 15 listening to his music rather than finding him after he drifts from his "school". No mention of Ursula who was supposed to be at the palace around the time of Athena's death which was poorly done (why over a trinket why not a heroic death by rescuing Ariel?) so I consider Ariel's beginning an AU of TLM

Cinderella's sequels  have consistency to her world as well, she returns from her wedding and has issues adjusting to palace life and actually trying to patch things up somewhat with Anastasia who did start to regret her actions after seeing the baker in Dreams come true. I'll admit A twist in time is more of a retelling of the original but it did show that eventually Dreams come true will happen (abit differently this time but hey at least Cinderella finally got her turn to not be plastic, now if they could do that with Snow White i'd be happy)

The Aladdin sequels are also all consistent Return of Jafar referenced the original and set up the tv series which in turn set up King of Thieves which concludes the Aladdin saga (the only set to actually get proper closure)

Mulan II: Shows us the post-war part of Mulan's life, which i'm sure fans were curious about

I'm now on the line on some of the other sequels
Enchanted Tales, Aurora's seems plausible but she was still a bit plastic, Jasmine's no.
Pocahontas II: Depends on the viewer's preferences of Smith or Rolfe, however she did go to England at somepoint no matter who you pick.
