This is exquisite. There are so many different art styles so it's fun to see how you evolved while creating this. Though, I just realized how sad the ending is. Dorothy has to return to her grim family and struggle through the Great Depression as they attempt to recover from the twister that wrecked their home and income.

You know, that is what I never understood about the novel.
Dorothy wanted to go back home all the time. The land of Oz was beautiful, and she was treated well by everybody.
She was loved, and yet she wanted to go back home. And the book describes her home as gray, even uncle Henry and Aunt Em.
The ending is only sad from our perspective, because she was very happy to come back.

But I am doing what she didn't.
