Indeed, that is a fun fact!:D :hmm:I'm pretty sure I heard that somewhere before, though. I'm not surprised that the North Vietnamese had their Thompsons rechambered for the 7.62mm Tokarev round, they had a ton of that stuff!:wow:

:XD:Hehehe, thus proving my point about how assault rifles made submachine guns obsolete!=P With an AK47, you get the power and range of an SKS, and the volume of fire of PPsh-41, all in one glorious, durable package.;P

Thank you for all the advice you gave me prior to drawing this.:handshake: I mentioned in the text that I plan on continuing with submachine guns; I'm going to include the Carl Gustav M45, the Smith & Wesson M76, the Colt Commando, the PPs-43, and the modified MAT-49.;)

I know you heard it from somewhere, I was the one who told you it prior to this. ;) Also for your next piece of work with more SMGs I would like to help give you some information about them that I know of, and also it would be nice if you included some of the lesser known SMGs like the Owen, F1, Sten Mk II and Sterling L34A1.

:XD:Yeah, you're right, you told me before!;P Sure thing, I'd love more info from you.

Listen, I'm sorry to say this, but I was only planning on doing some of the primary weapons used by the United States and North Vietnamese forces, not any of the weapons used by the Australians. From what I understand, all the SMGs you just mentioned were used by the Australian army, right?:hmm:

Well, I'll tell you what, since you've been a good help, after I get all the US and NVA weapons out of the way, I'll draw some of the guns used by the Australians as a little "bonus.";)

Well the Sten was used by the Green Berets, they often used it over the Carl Gustav M/45, usually with a silencer. But yeah, the Owen, F1 and L34A1 were used by the Aussies mainly.

Okay, so you're saying both the Sten and the Carl Gustav M/45 both saw some use by the Green Berets? If that's the case, I'll be happy to include the Sten in my next piece.

Like I said before, I'll eventually do guns like the L34A1, F1, and the Owen for an Australian page.;)

Another one I know of too, the Uzi. It was used by the Special Observations Group due to it's compact short-med range automatic capabilities, and often with a silencer to go with it.

You must know that I'm limited to the number of weapons I can draw per page. After all, I even said when I started this project that I wouldn't include every weapon used in the war.;)

Thanks for the help.

So true, but I'm just putting out ones I know so you can help yourself to them and add whatever you wish.
