Yeah, but they're communities exactly; it's not canada-wide that people are all actually bilingual. :/ I've met/seen my share of french-bashing english canadians, and it raises my hackles every time.
But not all of them are like that, true, but it's those ones that make the rest look bad. Just like not all québecois are separatists. I'm personally not 100% decided.
