Comment on Acy+Cay - Scene from Showtime by stayka
Well, the scene is an illustration for an original story of mine, thus the colouring of the characters is done on purpose that way.
Acy's "public persona" is that of an eccentric artist and she adopted wild flourescent neon colours as her trademark - that is, she wears neon coloured outfits, wigs and contacts. As she has to live up to her reputation, she also decorated parts of the Villa in neon (where people might get a glimpse).
Poor Cayvyn needs to go with her obsession, but then, he usually is adamant about wearing the colours of the noble family he adopted, that is green and gold. Of course those colours clash badly with Acy's neon, but that's how they decided to appear in public.
That way they set up such a showy appearance, that practically no one would even imagine they might be the pretty efficient vigilantes / sometime space pirates / "interstellar Robin Hoods" Blackfire and Infinity.
So the colours for that picture are not put together by chance, but very deliberately chosen to convey how the characters are actually looking in the stories.
