It would make sense but this pink Butterfree was made long before that episode and that island was even created and the Pokemon who eat the pink fruit would only remain pink as long as they keep eating eat, otherwise they would return to their normal colors. The creators of series probably made her Pink so the viewers could tell her apart from the other Butterfree.
I haven’t watched the series in years but I remembered that different colored PKMN would appear from time to time for no apparent reason other than to make it cool I guess.

I don’t think so since it was made long before the second season started and people usually make stuff up as they go. Plus, if the Butterfree was form the island then she wouldn’t have been oink anymore since the PKMN will remain pink as long as they keep eating the fruit. But maybe we shouldn’t think much into this since the PKMN people randomly make PKMN with different traits for no real reason other than to make them unique/cool. Like the cristal Onix, giant Dragonite and giant Tentacruel.

I’ve noticed that Ash has reunited with every PKMN he gave away/freed except Butterfree, Pidgeot and Primeape, which is weird because those were 3 of his first Pokemon.

Yeah, but he never really used Primeape much. That had been a funny episode though. Looking back, it's depressing that they called rice balls "jelly donuts," even though they look nothing like jelly donuts.
