Congratulations on the Daily Deviation.
I think you did very well with taking this photo alone, using a self-timer. The positioning is perhaps not quite where you might want it to be, but the photo still has impact. For me it holds conflicting messages of peaceful solitude and final surrender (perhaps those could be one and the same thing?).
Though it would be lovely for your arm to be completely submerged and to see more of the flow of your hair on the left of the image, the ripples and the shadows and highlights they create, in addition to the gentle turning of your hair, make for a wonderfully evocative photo. The blue tint is very nicely rendered, just the right shade of blue in my opinion, not too garish, not too pale. It gives a feeling of coolness to the image and adds a depth to it as well (no watery pun intended). For a photo that was taken unassisted and submitted untouched, I think it is quite lovely. Congratulations again.
