OH YES. I got the BatB artbook for Christmas, and Disney was originally going in more this direction as far as costuming goes, and Gaston was going to be a French fop, and so on. Would have been interesting. And I would hope a scene like that would be included, that would have been hilarious

The artbook sounds cool-- I'd like to see that at some point. It's too bad that they didn't go for a more 18th century inspired look... I would have really loved that.
