Noir does look a lot like Yami Bakura sometimes! I swear! From teh back though, he reminds me of Sirius, especially when he starts laughing about the idiots he escaped from. "He's...there's no other word for it...a brat." XD But then you stare at Noir's face, and you see the glint in his eyes...then you think, "Baku!"
heehee!! Just finished the second volume. I laughed out loud when Florian was in the cave from the gas..."a real phantom", he says. XD Wouldn't it be interesting for Bakura to meet Erik and Florian at once? I mean, they're all so ... similar! I could just imagine that conversation that's going on. ^___^ Noir would make some crack-pot joke, Bakura would have this huge long speech and play with blood, and Erik would disappear and leave with the real jewel, replacing it with a replica he made himself!

I think canon manga Ryou would be capable of killing someone if he had the means, in defence of himself or his precious people. To me, he's the kind of person "capable of killing but incapable of cruelty". Fanon Ryou, on the other hand, wouldn't stand a chance either way. He probably would faint dead away. 
Yugi, on the other hand, wouldn't be capable of deliberately killing anyone, whether to save a loved one or not (we saw evidence of that with duel against Kaiba atop Pegasus' castle).

True true. Yugi doesn't ever seem to be capable of any such thing. Canon manga Ryou certainly has more guts; we woud've seen him kill Yami Bakura if he had the abilities/means. Somehow, perhaps picturing Ryou wtih a gun doesn't quite fit...XD

They just added two more chapters of Gorgeous Carat on Sunday. They're scanlating all the volumes at once though, so if you think you're missing something, they probably haven't scanned the end of the last volume yet before moving to scan the beginning of the next volume.
