Yea, it's pretty disappointing really. You would think Sonic would want to know what his rival was thinking, but Lara-Su sent him into some time-lock thing (it's so complicated it hurts! XD)

And I agree with u. I do hope Archie will clear some of that stuff up in the next 30 Years Later saga. But I do hope that Shadow gets to beat the snot out of Lara-Su for not letting him explain. I always thought that maybe Shadow just wanted to teach Sonic a quick lesson and then hand over the crown, but I'm not sure.

i'm sure of it that if shadow explained what his plans we're and if sonic and sally explained that it was the wrong way to go, that he would've just handed over the crown to sally and sonic to.
Indeed. But you have to admit, though, that evil Shadow is and always will be AWESOME!!!! 
oh! i think i've got something! an idea! (hey! it's been a long time hasn't it? i'm avatar-moonlight-100) i've got an idea for the 30 years later arc.
what if Shadow had somehow found out about this plan of this evil force to overthrow the king of mobius and conquer it. (much like Eggman had done) everyone knew that Sonic would be king at some point. (let's face it, it was inevitable) shadow knew this aswell and when Sonic dissapeared it gave that evil force an opportunity to strike and take Mobius over. Shadow took controll of things and became king before Sonic could and before that evil force could make it's move. with Shadow as king, that evil force would be having alot of trouble bringing him down. he tells no one of his knowledge and so no one knows about it.
Sonic comes back and overthrows him with the help of Lara-su. they don't give Shadow a chance to explain himself and so he takes the secret of the future siege to his tomb. (i think that's kinda what they called the thing they put Shadow in) with Shadow out for the count, that evil force has the perfect opportunity to set their plan into motion.
five years later Shadow is released from that tomb with the help of Lien-da. he is enraged because no one gave him a chance to give them a reason for his behaviour. the reason being that he wanted to keep his promise to Maria by preventing Mobius from falling into the wrong hands once again. he is furious at Sonic, sally and everyone else, but he still wants to do what's right for Maria's sake and so tries to take the throne back by force. which doesn't really go the way he wanted to.
so? how was it? was it a good read? i'm fairly new to the main comic series because i have only read sonic universe. so i don't know if the 30 years later arc was also mentioned in the main comic series since i've only started today on reading it.

yeah, i guess :/ though i rather prefer him to be badass and on the good side, i hate it when he gets missunderstood =_=
