Well, yea. But still, it would've been the biggest target on the battlefield, and it would've taken the Germans more than all of their resources to build. Even if it did provide a morale boost, imagine the damage done when the troops found out that it got stuck in the mud?

The Maus never saw combat; it was illogical and the Germans realized it. It wasn't able to move faster than 10kmph, and would suffer from mechanical breakdowns every other minute.
