I took Naoya's route the first time. Had to level grind forever to beat the Bel gauntlet. But my super powerful Culebre (who I have seen every ending with he is so precious. He has Mediarahan, Mabufudyne (or Ice Dance as I sometimes shift it for bosses), Drain, Victory Cry, the obligitory Ice Repel, and Ice Amp.) beat the crap out of everything :3

Culebres are awesome *w* But my heart goes out to the Pythons, the first range 2 attackers I used. Had to switch it out though, took too long to level up. I fused it and ITS HEART WILL STAY FOREVER WITH ME-

They totally made Culebre and Python higher levels in DeSu2 <3<3<3 I'd suggest bringing Elec Amp/Elec Dance, it'll kill Bel itself in one hit in the final stage if you've got a decent magic stat.
obvs the first thing I did when I got to an appropriate level was fuse one. There are higher level dragons than him too but they're not as awesome :3 also they're all phys based and I like MAGIC

Magic is handy because most magic types aren't weak to phys, and even if they have a weakness against an element they can resist it well enough with a high magic stat :3 A high phys attacker will be weak against any magic attack, and it's harder to OHKO with phys attacks.. Unless you're Atsuro XD
Not to mention all the Rangdas and Tetrakarn-users that pop up towards the end! XD Plus there are different types of magic, so you don't get walled by the first person with a Rf.
All true :3 And the sounds and effects are cooler... Plus Magic Yin gives a high magic stat user pretty much an instant team OHKO with something like a -dance or ma-dyne move. I love it when you take out the leader with one hit while he has a full team. At that level, we're not level grinding. We're sniping or bashing our way through XD
