It's legal in some places to own a wolf, and they aren't all that bad, I had one after she broke her hind legs falling off a cliff. The vet fixed them, but she had a permanent limp, so we brought her on our farm with us. The biggest problem was when someone didn't close the gate properly, because she would try to eat the livestock. I wouldn't recommend pulling one out of the wild though. We only had her because she could never go back.

Oh? Which places, and what was her name?

With a permit, you can own one in Idaho, which is my state, and many others in America, but I don't know about other countries. Her name was Fenrai, because a wolf from a book had that name, and both broke their hind legs.
