I would bet money on atleast one of them getting killed. if not for the very epic thought that it brings to any story seeing a hero cut down, I think it would give you a second wind during the campaign where you just get mad and need to avenge your fallen friend. like I said before, weve been fighting a very long time to just "get them off my planet!", I would like a refreshing new reason to kick some ass. and thats what reach should bring, refreshing new ways to get that good ol' feeling Halo as a series gave us back where it all started.

Yes, that's what I mean when I say a Spartan death isn't necessarily a bad thing, it can add a new perspective to the game and alter the mood as well as the athmosphere.

I would also love to get more in touch with the Covenant and have someone important on their ranks die, like a top ranking, hard working Elite. That would be ultra sad for me ... But so far, I think Halo has been way too lopsided in favour of the humans, we need more Covenant everything.

well, if I know bungie (and after all this time I would hope I do...) they will fulfill all our wishes and let us play out the covenant side eventually. just because the original story that sparked so much love for the game is over (or atleast for players it is) and the chief is presumably lost for all time in cryo, dosent mean reach is the end of all things halo in general. but im sure you realize all this, you seem very intelligent and up to date on the halo universe.

7he fu7ure is filled wi7h many 7hings, bo7h alien and neigh.

:D Well I hope so. I hope it doesn't all end with Reach. Wasn't there supposed to be a Forerunner book released in June, by the way? I haven't seen it yet ...

Thanks! Lol, I actually am not that versed in Haloism though, I'm a frequent visitor to Halopedia and use the Encyclopedia when I'm wondering about something. Without those two, I'd be lost without hope, just like the Chief. :)

Sorry, I can't keep much data in my head at once, so I tend to try and know only the important stuff (mainly Elite stuff, lol). So when I need to know something along the base timeline, I'll have to go to the Higher sources for that. :)

I like the books, I have them in my shelf, and I listen to the audiobook versions about once a year. It's good company .. :)

Oh yes, the first three are read by a superb guy too.

You might be able to download them, I don't know, but I think (could be wrong though) that there is a box set of the first three discs that isn't too expensive.

I really wish there was someplace that had free, streaming audiobooks .. that would be so great. I mean, the last book, Evolutions is nearly $65 if I want to order it. :(
