I agree with your point of view, in the region where I live, now oil spills are damaging the flora and fauna, only in these two months have dead fish, iguanas, turtles, crocodiles and snakes, all intoxicated by hydrocarbon. Pastures have been reduced, so far no fire alarm but cows and horses died ahn so. What I dislike of the media is only concerned about the cows leave the other animals as minority.

I like animals, and I am against abuse them, reptiles are my favorites and I do not consider any living being as a minority.

Oh no! Another spill?! Is anything at all done to clean it up or rescue the animals?! It makes me sick that this keeps happening... especially since those responsible tend to never pay for their actions, put forth the most minimal effort to curry good favour again with the press before trying to sweep it under the rug and pretend it didn't happen. They don't feel anything for what they've done. It hardly even puts a dent in their wallets =(

I love reptiles too. Snakes especially. I've never had one as a pet myself but I have had friends who have had them and they've always been such sweethearts. And every time I've encountered an iguana they act like big scaly cats. I wish people wouldn't dismiss animals simply because they're not "cute" or fluffy...
