This actually is pretty amazing as it is. The only part taking away from it is the water. It's way too rough for this scale considering how realistic and detailed the rest of the picture is.
Also, if the water was to be moved (as the shore and breaks in the reflection suggest), you wouldn't have such reflections at all (only spots of color, but nothing clearly identifiable) and the blue and white don't make ... any sense. As they can't come from the sky, looking at the other reflections. You'd see the water itself (which usually tends to be more green-brown-ish). The white ... foam (that's not the right word for sure, but whatever) also wouldn't be like that as long as the lake isn't polluted. It only occurs if the waves brake. And that would look ... different, I think. Also, it'd require a really strong wind. And there doesn't seem to be any moving the trees and grass.
And well, if it was able to create such mirror-like reflections, it'd have to be still and therefore have neither the interruptions nor the ... foam. Googling for "lake" or something should help tons.

If it wasn't for the water, I wouldn't have had a single crit though. The sky and distant background are especially gorgeus!

yeah your right about the water. I should probably go edit it. Its funny cous I really liked it before all the wave stuff anyways I just didnt want to do the same thing I always do. But I guess dont break what already works.

Well, it really depends on the style of each piece. This one is pretty realistic, so the water also should be. In your rougher works this stylistic direction would probably work well~
