Comment on DW: The Doctor and River by sharded
aww, I love Doctor/River with both 10 and 11. I thought 10 just didn't trust her at first and then was horrified because he understands the implications of her, presumably better than we do. And he does hate it when people sacrifice themselves for him. He just didn't have much time to come to terms with her. It must be terribly disconcerting to meet someone for the first time who knows you completely, and then before you can even work out who they are, they've gone and died for you.
I confess I am no judge of "chemistry" at all, I never know what that means whether people are saying that a couple has it or doesn't.
I find her a bit odd with 11 because while he's 907, he LOOKS a bit too young for her, but I try to remember it's actually the other way 'round.

Aye, that's all very true.
Maybe I just grew to like her more in series 5. She kinda came outa nowhere in series 4 and I was as confused as The Doctor (which is the first and only time we'll have anything in common
)
But when I saw more of her I liked her more, and therefor, liked her/The Doctor more.

yeah, I saw her for the first time in season 5 (I watch Doctor Who as out of order as they meet), so while that meant I was lost as to who she was at first, when I went back and watched her in season 4 I guess I sort of knew what to expect. a lot of people seem to like her better in season 5.
.......I things in common with the Doctor all the time. but sadly not things like owning a TARDIS...
