Totally have fallen in love with Dr. Who and I love the idea of a female Doctor, though I must confess I would have loved to have seen Donna Noble as the Doctor. That woman right there cracked me and then would have me crying in the next scene. She is nutty! Great work by the by!! I really love your inks, they are just beautiful. I have been MIA for a while, but it's nice to be catching up and seeing all of your gorgeous artwork!!
First, I'm glad to hear from you. It really has been a while but I can see you've been quite busy. Never a bad thing, that, especially when it relates to art.
I appreciate all the kind comments. The fellow who commissioned this piece wanted to see a cute Asian style Doctor, which I thought was a fairly novel concept. It was fun (albeit a pain) to draw the TARDIS. I love Doctor Who immensely (especially the older series), so it was a pleasure doing this drawing. I almost threw in K-9 into the drawing but wasn't sure why he'd be hanging around this Doctor incarnation, so I decided not to. Considering how the Doctor, here, changed into a Japanese girl, maybe I should have made it an AIBO, instead.
