I'm Pagan and not quite Wiccan... Beltane is the celebration of spring and the creation of everything new that's blooming. It's all about the joining of the goddess and the god, and it's basically about sex or the joining of opposites to create something new. It's the funnest holiday because everyone's laughing and making jokes (as opposed to Samhain, which is when we dine with our ancestors, that's pretty dark... maybe you'd like that too). In any case, we basically have a ritual to celebrate all the birth and a feast afterward. It would be cool if you came because I might be in charge of the altar for the west, which is a pretty big thing to me... Are you Christian? I didn't think you were. Well, whatever you are, it doesn't exactly matter because no one who comes really believes in the same thing, but everyone has fun, anyway.
