Hi Gianni =D
Thank you very much for all your praises, i'm really glad you like that photo of mine.
The cat was called onion for two reason: first of all because her colors remind the onion, secondly is because my mother is used to call all our female cats with endearment like Cipolla (onion), Patata (potatoes), etc... so when we saw that the name Cipolla suited her very well all the family started to call her that way.

Thank you for your friendly answer. I am interested to know that you also have a cat named potatoes--that's cool. :) Your English is very good. Your profile says you live in Bologna. Did you go to the famous university there?

Thank you too =D
Potato is only a nickname (we use more often "patatina", small potato) that we use for all the female cats. Only Shiva sometimes is called "pumpkin" because she is unusually big and fluffy xD
Yes, i'm living in Bologna, i'm attending the third year of foreign languages.

Your English is very good. What other languages are you learning? I know that the university at Bologna is one of the oldest in Europe, or is it *the* oldest?
You have a female cat named Shiva?

Thank you. I'm also studying japanese! It's a very tough language but I love it:heart:
Yes,the "Almamater studiorum" is the oldest university in Europe (was found in 1088).
The youngest of my cat is named Shiva, she's a beautiful 1 y/o cat of 6kg (about 13,2lbs). She's so fluffy and tender!!

What makes you want to study Japanese? Will you go to Japan? I studied some Japanese once when I wanted to impress a girl who had been to Japan. I learned to sing the song Sukiyaki. She was impressed!
Shiva is a Hindu god who is the king of the yogis and who sits naked amid the snows of the Himalayas. I guess it's no stranger name for a cat than "onion" Maybe Shiva has a different meaning for you?

It's the love for the japanese culture that makes me choose to study this language. And maybe my foolness too =D
The name Shiva that we choose for our youngest cat is the name of a videogame character (here the image-> [link]). The color of her eyes is very similar to the color of that girl.

Ah, yes now I see: *that* Shiva is definitely female. And Shiva is the cat in your picture "Le chat et le soleil." What blue eyes she has!
Your DA name is Japanese, yes? May I ask what it means and why you chose it?
