Ah, one more thing that just crossed my mind, professor.
Gardevoirs are very loyal to their trainers, right? What about Gardevoirs that are in the wild? Do they just immediately stay loyal to a trainer that captures them even if the trainers uses methods like poisoning (which seems pretty 'rough' compared to putting them to sleep or paralyze) to increase the catch rate? Or, like other pokemons do, they can dislike the trainer at first?

I can understand a Gardevoir that was captured as Ralts will grow up with the trainer, thus they'll have a strong bond with their trainer when they evolve into one. So, what about one that evolves into a Gardevoir in the wilds alone?

I would say the latter; trust needs to be built first for it to last. A wild one will still need to get used to its trainer for it to become loyal.
