Nor do I. Its confusing, isn't it? The original purpose of deviantart was to post work and gain feedback from others so as to IMPROVE in one's art work. However most people shrug it off with 'its ma' style' because they've deluded themselves into thinking that they are good artists simply for being popular. Or because they draw fanart. Something like that.
I think it's just out of plain old laziness.....or maybe they think too highly of their art. :/
LOL, Maybe... Well, the one who judged you is PURELY lazy. Her realism could be good if she worked at it, but instead she scribbles fat thighed beasts.
But she's popular, and that apparently = talent.
