Nice touch! At first I didn't like the "hippy pacifist" peace sign on it...but then I recall a real US SpecOps warrior who said that any(every?) true warrior yearns for peace, but trains (hard) for war.
I know its based on the FMJ poster.

I am not a war mongerer but do support the troops, especially the tip of the spear SpecOps warriors who are actually trained to fight the unconventional battles. As compared to the regular main force conventional troops who are somewhat trained to engage the enemy but is not really thier bread and butter.

Spartans are not main force units, of course. They are the tip of the spear who were orignally bred to fight human guerrilla rebels and violent protesters...until the E.T.s came, heh.

i think a soldier appreciates irony and sarcasm, so he or she would totally be cool with putting a peace sign or a happy face or a cutesy message.

or like joker says in FMJ: "its the duality of man". :D basically it can mean as shallow or as deep as the wearer wants it to be.

Oh yeah, I've met and been around actual marines, soldiers, airmen, and sailors of all types so I can understand.

i.e. a lot of the young Navy pilots, who are officers, are really cool, down to Earth, and laid back. But still are very professional.
