V: I signed up for the english class. I'm kinda hoping the professor might be able to help me find something out. You?

V: I have a little bit of a conundrum, what with my species tendencies, and I figure he might know a way to fix it among all the stories and rumors he must've heard throughout his life.
Lexi: Ahh, not trying to be rude or anything, but what is your species??
V: Oh don't worry, that's actually pretty common. I'm a Siphonin. We're kind of like magic leeches, feeding off of the magical energy of other creatures. Plus, there aren't really very many of us. Probably a little over 100 across the entire planet.
Lexi: Ahh, so magic is like what food is to humans??
V:In essence, yeah. In fact, I can't actually eat any "real" food. It's magic, or nothing.
