I have 7 budgies now 
3 of them are really tame, the others are young and a bit shy.
But my old budgie (the one in the picture) was really really tame... I could lay on my bed sleeping, he was sitting next to me sleeping, too. I could also touch him and stroke his head

That is such a sweet little bird! I know my SnugglePuff will do similar, though she is flighted... she also likes taking naps under blankets... a fluffy yellow cuddler.

He wasn't ill or felt bad, he was just sleepy (It's fine, the term isn't used often) It means the bird CAN fly and doesn't have its wings clipped.
It is. She's a very sweet little bird! If I try taking her out of the cage, she... dives down my shirt or comes right to my chest.
Awww!! Like a baby budgie! Mister Sweatervest (Snyeg or Snow Baby, my blue budgie) will lie on his belly in people's hands. He still acts like a little baby bird for some reason.
