Well, I am pleased but not surprised. Escher's attention to perspective and ability to twist it with such precision still almost makes my head hurt. I have a book with examples of how methodical he developed his drawings. When in art school I go a chance to work on "litho" stones and again that was a real wake up call. Serious drawing...always seems to be half dream related and the other half remembering the details of that dream. Rolling around your head until it's ready to come out.
