To be honest, I'm athiest and wasn't until recently that I found out Mary was a pregnant virgin (or something like that) so I honestly wouldn't have a clue. I don't really care whether Jesus was homophobic as long as athiests who think he was don't deliberately attack people about it and Christians don't use it as an excuse for being homophobic.
