It is very interesting, isn't it. The porcelain creates a very warm glow. I find it very fascinating.
I really like the repetition too, and it is very soothing and almost a bit therapeutic building these vessels. They almost remind me of paper. It's something about the combination of the wafer thin clay and the fingerprint texture. The colours were quite surprising when I first discovered them. With terracotta being red, I assumed that I might get a brownish, or pink hue, so you can imagine my surprise when I ended up with a scale of greys!

I actually thought it was paper when I first saw it. The shades of grey are kind of surprising in this context (I didn't realize it was terracotta) but it's a very warm, comforting combination.

Indeed :aww: I have a whole range of colours, ranging from 100% porcelain to 100% terracotta. A very subtle palette that I love working with.
