How did you attach the waist armor to your body/rest of the costume ?
The waist armor and skirts all float on my hips without anything holding them there. I know it sounds funny but I'm just so pear-shaped that I tailored them to go over my head and sit a specific position without velcro, snaps, or zippers. ^^*
Before I came to this solution, I was considering using a harness system to clip everything to. I got this idea from another Warcraft cosplayer ("Kamui" or "ghostship" here on DA). Some links to how she did it:
