Well, to be honest, Groudon in its normal state isn't actually that dangerously hot. However, in the case of Primal Groudon, yes, we are over 1,000 degrees Celsius due to the molten material on its outside. So yeah, it would be very hard to battle in close-quarters against it without a Pokemon that is naturally resistant to extreme heat.
