Yes and I understand that, but you can't say all halfies don't have middle names. I understand that maybe most of them have English first names along with a middle name but some of my Half-Japanese friends have a Japanese first name along with an English (Spanish, French etc) middle name.

Wow. I wasn't aware close-minded people like you still existed. It's up to the parents what they want to name their children, and whether or not they want to give their child a middle name. Not yours, and certainly not their cultural norms.
My character's parents decided to give her a middle name. Who cares that her mother is from China? Or that her father is from Scotland? They wanted to give her a middle name. It doesn't matter that it's a Chinese one. Get over it.

I'm not being closed-minded. It's a fact that Asians don't have middle names. It's your fictional character so fine, give her a middle name since she's yours. I'm just saying that in reality, they don't. If I have to say, you're the one being ignorant about our culture.

You know what? Stop trolling and get a life. My father is from Okinawa so don't tell me I'm ignorant about my own culture. Stop generalizing all the Asian countries, they're all different.
