Nice detail shot. What kind of lens did you use? Just curious, because I want to pursue macro photography, but I'm still weary of investing a lot of money in a new lens. Are you using an extension tube?

I'm just using my one and only standard kit lens- 58mm
But I do use different combination of Macro filters. I think I used a +4 and a +10 macro filter combines to get this shot. I bought a set of macro filters for about $15 on amazon. For the price, the are fantastic. :D

Wow! I've definitely looked into macro filters, but I wasn't sure what was my best bet. I've been really cheap thus far and tried reversing my lens and had some minor success. Emphasis on minor. This sounds good though. I'll probably look into extension tubes as well as macro filters. Do you have the name brand of the filters you used? And what kind of camera are they compatible with?

Sorry it took me so long to answer. Just check out amazon, they have a few different brands. They work for any camera. Just make sure you buy the right size for your lens
