because they appear it in the pic. and if they just happened to be snapped when they were both on, they alternated. anyway, my thinking in "superior" was a superior replica, not a different car entirely. doesn't matter though, stop crying. i still gave the car props.
The picture is a long exposure shot. The lens was open for probably about 8-10 seconds. Alternating lights would appear to both be on simultaneously in a long exposure picture.
