Yeah! She's the red woman. You ought to watch Clone Wars if you haven't already! In Clone Wars, Aayla and Shaak Ti are two of the Jedi who battle against Grievous in the first Volume. In the second Volume, Shaak Ti battles General Grievous alone in an attempt to keep him from capturing Palpatine. She is very awesome, and the Second Volume ends where Episode III begins.

Yeahm you know if you read the novelizations of the movies as well as the stuff that happens in between, you find a lot more characterization for everyone that you miss in the movies themselves. For example, Mace Windu fights in Form VII of the Jedi style which is highly unpredictable and contains elements of the Dark Side of the Force. And Aayla is very close to Kit Fisto, but because a Jedi is forbidden to have major attachments, she couldn't pursue it.
