An absolute masterpiece for so many reasons. As already noted it is amazing how you tend to such detail, the beauty of the armour etc. But I think the highlight of the masterpiece is the way you have managed to capture the sheer intensity and desperation of the moment. Even though the work is obviously centred exclusively on the queen, with other figures alive or dead very much faded in the background, you manage to instill in the viewer that sense of the extreme ferocity of the attack which would be resulting in the Amazons suffering great slaughter. You capture that idea without actually portraying it. Amazing.
