Comment on DA: New Full-View Proposal by z-design
Yes, please. I assume it would still have to be a subscription feature, because it would screw with ads, but that would be totally awesome.
The full-view would push the ad, comments, and info, etc. to the bottom of the image in the same way that the current "full-view"(which is actually fit-to-screen) does.
Non-subscribers would still have access to all 3 viewing modes(zoomed out, fit-to-screen, and full-view) except that their default viewing mode would always be "zoomed out". It's important for potential employers and companies browsing this site to be able to see the full-detail and intricacy of the artwork right off the bat, but it's also important for DA to keep making money from ads, and so that's why the non-subscriber viewing mode stays as "zoomed out".
