Thank you. I use a Nikon 300mm telephoto lens.

Thank you.
Do you use a converter for the 300mm?

Yes, a 2x converter :)

If the converter from Nikon?
I would like to buy one for my lens, you have to make manual focus or make it over the auto focus.
Already, thanks for the reply.

The tele converter is from Kenko and it works with auto focus too, but it's quite slow. Most of the time I use the 1.4x converter, which is faster and also a little sharper than the 2x converter.

Which lens you take for your animal pictures.
I've just bought the Sigma 120-400mm and there is still much to exercise such good pictures as you make it. But I already know I need a converter, I think I'll try with 1.4. Do you have experience with the Sigma or the Nikon or Nikon is the best of Kenko.

I wish you a nice rest of weekend

Greetings

Most of the time I use this lens: Nikkor 300mm f/4D ED IF AF-S. You can read a review here: [link]

I don't have any experiences with Sigma lenses, except for the 10-20mm wide angle lens. I just checked your gallery and the shots of the Snow Owl are very nice. Just keep shooting and practising with your 120-400mm and you will get more good results. If you prefer to shoot handheld, you should definitely choose the 1.4x converter, since the 2x is very difficult to use without a tripod. I think Kenko's converter is better (more useful), since Nikon's converter is only for manual focus, even it's much more expensive.

Have a nice weekend too :)
