I think the same, "Joker" & "The Killing Joke" are, according to me, the most important comics for this character!
Concerning the movie etc... I get what you mean I have no problem with this interpretation I've just choose to make my hown way, near to Nolan-Ledger one

well i said i have a problem with some of it .. but for me wen i saw i have a problem with some thing .. its just means that im not over joyed by it and i do not hate it
i actually like your view on the joker but im just kind of sick of all the nolan-ledger fan art .. wen one joker type over powers the other it makes me sad cuz the joker is not meant to be that way weather he has scars or a goofy smile hes still the joker .. if his personalty is intact then its still the joker
