The stripes or the animation?

What I did was, I was looking at a layer style for photoshop that had a basic plain stripe pattern on it, and then I put it on a new layer above where Im working and made the fill 0% so all you see is the pattern and change the transparency and blend mode as needed etc, and clipping mask so it's in the right places and all.

Then I duplicated that layer and moved it so it was next to the first one, and then merged them into one stripe layer.

For the animation I just moved that layer over 1 nudge per 0 second frame.

But looking at your stripes makes me think I can make them a little bit more dynamic perhaps. Iunno what I'm just rambling and inspired! :dummy: :giggle:

Sorry if you don't use photoshop and it doesn't make any sense to you :noes:

It makes some sense. I use fireworks, so I kinda have an idea as to what you were up to. If you find your way works better and/or looks nicer, by all means ignore me. :meow:

Ah yes I have that too, I think I have all of adobe's stuff somewhere or other :giggle: I did try to use it but I never got as far as understanding it. I worry that perhaps photoshop's animation capabilities might possibly limit the things I will be able to make but I guess I would have to ask someone who knows about both to be sure of the differences : ]

No! I always learn so much from others

There's learning things from others and then there's limiting yourself due to what other people do.
