I think I like this one more myself. With dark pictures I usually have to make sure my contrast is at it's highest on my monitor which makes this one look more night like than the other. The first one looks too bright with the setting of my monitors contrast on the V1. This version also seems more detailed closer to looking like something from the show even.

If I bring down my contrast to 70 (out of a scale of 100) It changes the outlook of the pictures though. At this the V2 image it makes everything look more light an actual night time however the sky when compared to the V1 image almost looks too dark if it was in a fairly lit suburban or city area. If it's in a large park type area where the lamps are only dotting a footpath or something then it might be just the right tone. That being said the V1 sky looks like one that would be in an area well lit already thus causing the sky to be lighter.

In the end I still would choose the V2 image over all. I like the texture of it and the lighting from the lamp on Black Renamon looks more natural (keep in mind, I'm not an expert on lighting myself so you might want to take this evaluation as a grain of salt).

As for an idea of how to work with the differing monitors... possibly work with your monitor's contrast and start it at a lower ( in my case for example 70) setting that you normally have it for dark pictures and possibly on a higher contrast (100 also in my case) This way things might become harder for people to see. The reason this came to mind for me is that I can see things clearly in your pictures the higher my contrast is, except for the bulb of the lamp, I didn't know that was there until I turned the contrast on my monitor to 70. Not sure if that will help but it's a thought... and probably one I should remember to try myself lol
