I love background on pics, thanks for sharing with us that story, was a very nice reading. The pic looks awesome too. I love the shading you gave and the grey tones that tell me "decay". Good work overall 
Thanks! I honestly like writing those up as much as I do painting the pieces. I've got so many characters from a world I've built in my head that I've love to be able to have the time to write everything and illustrate it. Sadly time is always so short.
I usually do it that way too, I love telling some background on images and seeing images that tell me something apart from a nice view. Stories on characters behind are always welcome
