Well, I would think that Nala would be GLAD Simba was dead, considering she never gets a saying in anything.

you can tell by her facial expressions that SHE didn't want to drop off Kiara at the outlands like Simba did. Mothers have the intuition to try and help their kids (and their husbands) but this is one problem Nala's great wisdom cannot solve.
