exactly how do you do it if you don't mind sharing
it was VERY difficult to replicate, esp since i don't rely on anything besides my tablet skills and very few brushes in painter x.
I looked at the reference very closely and tried to get every line to replicate the ring, i drew lines, smoothed, drew lines again and then smooth and used the burn tool when necessary for the dark areas in the ring
After a while it got on my nerves and i started working on other things, when that happened, i noticed it was a bit too... foil like or too gross looking, so i added more lighting to it via the dodge tool.
it's a horrible method, but i got the result i like lmao.
It takes real patience and a long time to get these pictures like this, at least for me.
